This unit is intended to be installed in the rackmount. Please read the mounting instructions carefully before beginning installation. Failure to use the correct hardware or to follow the correct procedures could result in a hazardous situation for people and damage to the system.
Read the installation instructions before connecting the system to the power source.
It is the customer's responsibility to follow local country regulations, including operation within legal frequency channels, output power, cabling requirements, and Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) requirements. All Mikrotik radio devices must be professionally installed.

First Use
- Connect with your computer to the device ;
- Download the configuration tool https://mt.lv/winbox;
- Open the Neighbors tab and connect to the device using MAC address;
- The user name: admin, by default there is no password;
- to the power source.
- Use a Web browser or WinBox to connect to the default IP address of 192.168.88.1 from the first port, with the username admin and no password (or, for some models, check user and wireless passwords on the sticker).
- If IP is not available, download WinBox from our webpage and use it to connect through MAC address.
- Update RouterOS software to the latest version, and make sure that the device has an internet connection.
- If the device does not have an internet connection update software by downloading the latest version from our webpage To update the device to the latest software version download the latest RouterOS software from https://mikrotik.com/download;
- Choose ARM64 packages, and save them to your computer;
- Return to the WinBox and upload downloaded packages;
- Find the latest software and choose your packages.
- To get the architecture type of your device model, open WinBox or WebFig and see (System/Resources).
- Download packages to the PC and upload them to the WinBox, WebFig, (Files) menu, and reboot the device.
- Set up your password to secure Restart the device.

The device accepts powering from two redundant power supplies, each accepts 100-240 V AC power. You can use either, or both at the same time. Up to 228 128 W power consumption.

Mounting
The device is designed to use indoors and it can be mounted in a rackmount enclosure using provided rack mounts, or it can be placed on the desktop. Use a Phillips screwdriver to attach rackmount ears on both sides of the device and for both sides of the back of the device if designated use is for rackmount enclosure:
- Attach the bracket to the front right side.
- Attach the rear right bracket.
- Attach the bracket to the left front side.
- Attach the rear left bracket.
- Attach long brackets to the rackmount and install the device
- Attach rack ears to both sides of the device and tighten four screws to secure them in place, as shown in the picture.
- Place the device in a rackmount enclosure and align with the holes so that the device fits conveniently.
- Tighten screws to secure it in place.
If needed, install cable management brackets.
Please The device has no protection from water contamination, please ensure the placement of the device in a dry and ventilated environment. Ingress rating IP20.
We recommend shielded Cat5/6 Cat6 cables for our devices.
The mounting and and configuration of this device should be done by a qualified person.
Buttons and Jumpers
The RouterBOOT reset button has the following functions. Press the button and apply the power, then:
- Release the button when the green LED starts flashing, to reset RouterOS configuration to defaults.
Release the button when the LED turns solid green to clear all configuration and defaults.
- Release the button after LED is no longer lit (~20 seconds) to cause the device to look for Netinstall servers (required for reinstalling RouterOS over the network).

The device has four LED lights. PWR1/2 indicates which power supply is being used. FAULT indicates a problem with the cooling fans. USER can be configured in using the software.
