First use
- Choose your powering solution, please see the Powering section for possibilities.;
- Remove the lid, and connect the antenna to the RP-SMA connectors. Bend the cable with a large radius, so that it will be able to exit through the cable openings in the bottom of the lid. Put the lid back, with the a small arrow to the front of the case.;
- Open the device's bottom door, to reveal the Ethernet connector.;
- Connect your direct input power jack if not using POE, to start up the device.;
- Connect your Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port;
- Download WinBox configuration tool https://mt.
- The device will boot up and after a short beep Wireless network will be available for connecting.
- Open network connections on your pc, mobile phone, or other device and search for MikroTik wireless network and connect to it.

- Open WinBox and connect to the device;
- Default IP: is not set, user name: admin, no password, or use Neighbors tab and connect with MAC address (or, for some models, check user and wireless passwords on the sticker);Once connected to the wireless network, open https://192.168.88.1
in your web browser to start configuration, since there is no password by default, you will be logged in automatically. - We recommend clicking the "Check for updates" button and updating your RouterOS software to the latest version to ensure the best performance and stability.;
- Choose your country, to apply country regulation settings, and set up your password on the screen that loads.
